BUICK — SERIES 90 — EIGHT: The top of the line Series 90 Buick used a new 134″ wheelbase chassis and among its various models were two new body styles, the 4-door Club Sedan and 2-door Victoria Coupe. Standard on all Series 90 Buicks were wire wheels and dual side mounts.

HISTORICAL: Introduced Nov. 14, 1931. A Buick powered racer entered and driven by Phil Shafer finished 11th in the Indy. Shafer also won an Elgin, III. race with the same car. Innovations: Adjustable shock absorbers, Wizard Control free wheeling and automatic clutch. Calendar year production: 41.522. Model year production: 55,086 (another 1,704 stripped chassis and cars for export were produced). The president of Buick was Irving J. Reuter.
