1921 HUDSON Super Six, 6-cyl.

HUDSON — SUPER SIX — SIX: From 1921 through 1923 Hudson annually produced, in effect 2 separate lines of automobiles. For example the initial 1921 models were essentially carry overs from 1920. Then in September revamped models also regarded as 1921 models were introduced. In turn these became 1922 models until May 1922 when new versions, also regarded as of 1922 vintage debuted. The second run of 1921 models were identified by a revamped interior featuring a new steering wheel and instrument panel which placed all the instruments in a panel center mounted on the dash. In addition the classic H-shaped shifting gate was replaced with a rotating ball arrangement. Hudson also rearranged its foot controls by moving the accelerator from its position between the clutch and brake to the more logical location adjacent to the right side of the brake.
