1924 HUDSON Super Six, 6-cyl.

HUDSON — SUPER SIX — SIX: The initial line of Hudson Super-Six automobiles were virtually unchanged from those offered in the latter part of 1923. In mid-June they were replaced by significantly altered models. Styling changes included windshields with a curved lower edge and a raised hood line from radiator to cowl. A new fender crease line began to take Hudson away from the more rigid look of the early twenties. A longer, 127.5 inch wheelbase also contributed to this effect. Mechanical changes were also extensive. New, smaller 33 inch wheels were fitted with new “balloon” type, 33 × 6.20 tires. To accommodate this change the Hudson's steering and suspension were modified. Although its horsepower rating of 76 remained unchanged the Super Six engine now had a separate intake manifold mounted on the right side.
