1927 STUDEBAKER Commander, Model EW

STUDEBAKER — COMMANDER BIG SIX — MODEL EW — SERIES 27 — SIX: The Commander was Studebaker's slightly cheaper version of the former Big Six. The car was introduced in Jan. 1927, but was not named Commander until about April. The Commander had a 120 in. wheelbase. Styling features included bullet shaped headlights, double bar bumpers, French type visors, disc wheels and double bead body molding with the lower bead extending across the hoods. An Atlanta style hood mascot was added. Sport models had rumble seats.
