CHRYSLER — SERIES 70 — SIX: This was another carryover series. A styling change was seen in the use of a new, low, flat, V-type radiator. Serial numbers for the 1931 series were PI 80YD to P188DW for early year cars with Fedco type numbers and 79970001 to 7998712 for later in the year cars. Engine numbers for the 1931 series were V27182 to V29413. Specifications were the same, except that prices and weights on closed cars changed as follows: Business coupe was $1,245 and 3425 pounds; Royal coupe was $1,295 and 3520 pounds; Brougham was $1,245 and 3530 pounds and Royal Sedan was $1295 and 3590 pounds.
