FORD — MODEL A — FOUR: The final year of Model A production brought revised styling, several new body types and on April 14th production of the 20-millionth Ford, a Fordor sedan. Heading the list of styling changes was a radiator shell with a relief effect, plus running boards fitted with single piece slash aprons. In addition to the 2 and 4 door sedans introduced with a smoother roofline, a revamped cabriolet model was also introduced during 1931. However the star attraction was the convertible sedan which had fixed side window frames over which the top rode up or down on a set of tracks. Standard equipment on the convertible sedan included a side mount.
