1934 STUDEBAKER Model A, Dictator

STUDEBAKER — DICTATOR — SERIES A — SIX: For 1934, the Dictator returned to the Studebaker lineup as a six-cylinder series. Styling features included a newly designed “V” type slanting radiator, aero-dynamic streamlined bodies, more deeply skirted fenders, slanting hood louvers, single bar V-shaped bumpers and a body belt molding that ran across the hood side and over the body, dropping sharply at the rear. There was a new instrument panel and front windows with integral wind wings. Closed models had streamlined trunks. Regal trim models featured six-wheel equipment. Standard equipment included a Stromberg carburetor, Auto-lite ignition, steel draulic brakes, safety glass, free wheeling and automatic starter.
