1939 HUDSON Pacemaker Series 91

HUDSON PACEMAKER — SERIES 91 — SIX: The Pacemaker Series was introduced in March 1939 and is often regarded as the successor to the Terraplane. As were other Hudsons, the Pacemaker's suspension was equipped with Auto-Poise Control. This consisted of a bar attached to the frame across the front of the chassis. Its ends were angled backward to form arms that attached to the wheel spindles. The result was a torsional effect that pulled the wheels back to a center location whenever they moved away from a straight-ahead position.
