1939 OLDSMOBILE G-39 "70" Series, 6-cyl.

OLDSMOBILE — G-SERIES 70 — SIX: The new Oldsmobile for 1939, was actually a combination of two previous Olds offerings. Essentially the G-series cars were the larger (previously L-series) chassis fitted with the smaller (F-series) powerplant. For 1939, this automotive group was fitted with a slightly larger six cylinder motor than F-series cars. Body styles were shared with L-series cars and a convertible could be found in both groups.
