1941 HUDSON Commodore Series 14

1941 HUDSON Commodore Series 14

HUDSON — GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The 1941 Hudsons were substantially redesigned automobiles, sharing only the front fender sheet metal and drive line components with the 1940 models. All wheelbases were increased three inches and overall height was reduced by two inches thanks to a flatter roof line. Overall body length was extended by 5½ inches. The handsome, horizontal grille format was continued from 1940 but 9 rather than 7 grille bars were used and their greater length reduced the size of the center grille divider. Rear deck changes included taillights moved from the fenders to the quarter panels and externally mounted chrome trunk hinges.
