1941 OLDSMOBILE Series 96, 6-cyl.

OLDSMOBILE — SERIES 90 — SIX OR EIGHT: Just a pair of fastback sedan body styles were offered in this series for 1941. A wheelbase of 125 inches was shared with the 90 series. A deluxe equipment package was offered here. The top of the line Oldsmobile in 1941 came in four body styles. Rarest of these cars was the phaeton which was offered by Oldsmobile only in 1940 and 1941. Joining the four door open car was a convertible coupe, club coupe and four door sedan. This was the only year in Olds history that a model 96 — a ninety series car with a six cylinder engine was available. Few were sold. HydraMatic was a popular option on 90 series cars this year.
