CROSLEY (FOUR) — SERIES CD — Although the model lineup was basically unchanged for, 1951, the Crosleys of this vintage received a more dressed-up appearance. A new frontal design featured a grille with two ribbed horizontal bars and a spinner in the center. Turn indicators were standard equipment on sedans and convertibles again. A new V-shaped bumper treatment added some 3-1/4 inches to overall length A horizontal bodyside molding was used on Supers. It now stretched from the curve of the front feature line, back across the fenders and front doors. A larger bird-shaped hood mascot was mounted atop the nose along with a more massive Crosley medallion. The Super Hot Shot became the Super Sport. The standard convertible was dropped and the sedan became a two-passenger business coupe.
