1951 STUDEBAKER Champion DeLuxe, 6-cyl., 115

1951 STUDEBAKER Champion DeLuxe, 6-cyl., 115" wb

CHAMPION — MODEL 10G — The Champion was continued as Studebaker's low-priced series. The outer edge of the “bullet-nose” section was painted body color and the center piece was made of plastic. One-piece curved windshields were standard on all body styles. The former two-piece rear window on two-and four-door sedans was replaced by a one-piece unit. The “Deluxe” term was deleted from the Regal Deluxe trim name. Painted headlight and taillight trim rings were used only on Custom models. Deluxe models had chrome headlight and taillight trim rings, but lacked the stainless steel rocker panel moldings that were standard on Regal models. The Champion and Commander wheelbases were identical. All fender and body panels were the same on Champions and Commanders for corresponding bodies. The model identification was located on the left front edge of the hood.
