HUDSON HORNET — SIX — SERIES 7B — The Hornet for 1952 was based on the Commodore Eight. Special features seen on the Hornet included dark blue or brown leather grained window garnish moldings; Hornet ‘Flying-H’ identification on the side of front fenders and rear deck gold and chrome hood mascot; Hornet medallions on front door valance panels; and the high-compression H-145 six-cylinder engine. All other specifications matched those of the Commodore Eight. On a model-for-model basis the two series were again priced identically, with the 8A models weighing 30 pounds more than Hornets.
