PACEMAKER/WASP — SIX — SERIES 4B/5B — The Pacemaker was slightly downgraded for 1952 and had a plainer look. The twin-strut grille arrangement was deleted and fender skirts were optional. The ‘spear tips’ had a staggered look and a boomerang-shaped fin became the hood mascot. The rear end was spartan, having small oval taillamp lenses and only outer bumper guards. Standard specifications included fancy gray special-weave cord upholstery with red and brown stripes; ribbed rubber floor mats; dark brown painted dash; two-spoke light tan steering wheel; friction-type front ventipanes; two assist straps in sedans, one in Club Coupes; pop-out cigarette lighter; dash and seatback ashtrays; windshield and window reveal moldings; twin air horns; armrests at front seat end (plus rear seat end on sedans and Club Coupes); seatback pockets; woven trunk mat; and 232-cid engine.
