1959 AMC Rambler DeLuxe, 6-cyl.

RAMBLER SIX — (6-CYL) — SERIES 10 — Rambler had new grilles, new arrangements of side trim and re-contoured rear tailfins. The new fender treatment blended the fins into the upper beltline in a smooth, down-curving line. On all models a horizontal gap ran above the upper grille bar and between the dual headlamps. Stand-up chrome letters spelling the word Rambler appeared in the gap. The manufacturer's name also decorated the deck lid tailgate. Custom models had Custom nameplates at the front of the rear missile-shaped side molding. A narrower, straight molding extended along the upper bodyside from just behind the headlamps to the missile-shaped molding. Super models had Super name-plates within the tip of the ‘missile.’ On these cars the straightfront molding stopped just beyond the middle of the front door, without hitting the rear trim.
