1961 AMC Rambler Classic

RAMBLER CLASSIC SIX — (6-CYL) — SERIES 10 — The Rambler six was renamed for 1961. It received a new front end featuring a one-piece rectangular, extruded aluminum grille with the letters Rambler underneath, just above the bumper. The park/turn lights were located just below the front bumper. New front and rear bumpers were also used along the new side trim. Deluxe Series standard equipment included: turn signals; twin panel ashtrays; air cleaner; front armrests; cigar lighter; dual headlamps; dual sun visors; station wagon travel rack; and five black tubeless tires. Super Series models were equipped the same as above, plus dual horns; rear door armrests; front foam cushions and rear ashtrays.
