CORVAIR MONZA — (SIX) — SERIES 900 — The Corvair Monza had all standard equipment found on other models and more. For example, all-vinyl interiors with a new tufted pattern were used on four-door models and convertibles only. Equipment included a cigarette lighter; back-up lights; Deluxe steering wheel; glovebox light; full wheel covers; rocker panel moldings; and distinct model identification badges on the lower front fender in back of the wheel openings. Bucket seats were standard in all models including the four-door sedan. Spyder equipment was optional on the coupe and convertible at an attractive price. Sintered metallic brakes were no longer included. What did come on Spyders was a round “turbocharged” emblem on the rear deck; tachometer; 120 mph speedometer; full instrumentation; special brushed metal dash insert panel and turbocharged flat six.
