1965 AMC Marlin

1965 AMC Marlin

MARLIN — (6-CYL/V-8) — SERIES 50 — The 1965 Marlin was introduced in February 1965 as a midyear addition to the line. It was basically a Rambler Classic with special fastback roof styling. Different taillights were used, but the grille was of the Classic type with the vertical division bars removed. A special Marlin hood ornament was used. The Marlin was American Motors Corp.'s answer to the Ford Mustang, but could accommodate six passengers, as opposed to only four in the Mustang.
