VISTA CRUISER — Now in its first full year, the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser and its Buick companion, the Skylark Sport Wagon, featured a “Scenic-Cruiser” style raised roof. Oldsmobile would retain this unique roof through 1972. Sheet metal came from the F-85 Cutlass, but the wheelbase and overall length were longer than standard wagons in those series. Standard equipment included: tinted Vista roof glass, underfloor luggage compartment, electric windshield wipers and self-adjusting brakes. Custom equipment included: Deluxe steering wheel, padded dash, chrome window frames and foam padded seat cushions. Interiors were vinyl or cloth. Tire size was 7.75 × 14 inches. Vista Cruisers were built in the same plants as F-85s.
