CUTLASS SUPREME — The Cutlass Supreme was another new Olds series, introduced as a single model in 1966. The Supreme was the only series in which the popular 4-4-2 and the high-mileage Turnpike Cruising package option could be ordered. The 4-4-2 performance packages were sold with 24,829 cars. The new 400-cid “Force-Air” engine optionally available for 4-4-2s was a ram-induction system. Its horsepower was advertised as the same as the 1966 Tri-Carb engine. Five models were available. Standard equipment included: Deluxe armrests, carpeting, courtesy lamp package, special molding group, foam seats and Deluxe steering wheel. Upholstery was vinyl or cloth. Standard tire size was 7.75 × 14 inches. Cutlass Supremes were assembled in F-85 factories.
