DELMONT EIGHTY-EIGHT — A new prefix was used with Eighty-Eights in 1967: Delmont 88. Two sub-series were offered: the 330 and the 425. The numbers referred to the engine displacement, either 330 cid or 425 cid, depending on which engine was standard. Three models could be ordered with either engine, but the convertible came only as a 425. Standard equipment included: Deluxe armrests, carpeting, interior lamp package, special wheel covers and chrome body moldings. Interiors were vinyl, leather or cloth. Standard tire size was 8.55 × 14 inches. Full-size Oldsmobiles were made in the Lansing, Linden, Kansas City and Southgate assembly plants.
