NINETY-EIGHT — The Ninety-Eight conventional front engine/rear drive car remained the top-of-the-line Oldsmobile. It was the largest Olds product offered and had a 127-inch wheelbase. Six body styles were available. Standard equipment included: power brakes, electric clock, full carpeting, courtesy lamps, paint stripes, power seat adjuster, seat belts and shoulder harnesses, power steering, Deluxe steering wheel, power windows and Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. Standard tire size was 8.85 × 15 inches. Upholstery was vinyl, cloth or leather. All Ninety-Eights were built in Lansing, Mich., and had the letter code M.
