NEW YORKER SERIES — (V-8) — Three body styles were offered in this series. They had a slight face lift of the fuselage shape design. The grille used the characteristic horizontal and vertical bars with fine horizontal bars placed within the outline. A broad trim molding ran from front to rear at a level even with the lower portion of the bumpers. The rear taillamp ensemble had a horizontal bar look. The center section of the rear latch panel ‘grille’ was shaped like the front grille.
