PLYMOUTH INTERMEDIATES — (6-CYL/V-8)  — SERIES FR — Redesigned grilles, hoods, and fenders characterized Plymouth's 16-model intermediate-size lineup. Also new was a full-width rear panel housing arrow-shaped taillamps. The grille had a sort of ‘telephone receiver’ shape with integral dual headlamps at each end. Round park and back-up lamps graced the central bumper region front and rear. Belvederes had color-keyed floor mats; front armrests; rear ashtray/armrests/cigar lighter; glovebox lock; sill moldings; all-vinyl two-door coupe interior (cloth and vinyl in sedan); heavy-duty brakes (on station wagon); and 225-cid six or 318-cid V-8.
