TORONADO — Toronado remained Oldsmobile's entry in the personal/luxury market and one of the few full-size, front-wheel-drive cars built domestically. The two Toronado models were the Custom and the Brougham. Standard equipment included: Deluxe armrests, power brakes with front discs, cigarette lighter, electric digital clock, High-Energy ignition, carpeting, inside hood release, molding package, light package, power windows, power seat, power steering, Deluxe steering wheel and Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. Standard tire size was JR78-15. Upholstery was vinyl, cloth or leather. All Toronados were assembled in Lansina. Mich., and had the M factory code in their serial numbers.
