1976 CHRYSLER Town ^ Country, V-8

TOWN & COUNTRY WAGON — SERIES CP — V-8 — Front end appearance of the full-size station wagon was the same as Newport Custom. The grille was divided into six rectangular sections by chrome moldings, with the pattern continued in openings in the bumper. A new two-spoke steering wheel had woodtone accents. Molded fiberglass formed the headliner. Wiper-arm mounted windshield washer jets were standard. Options included a heated doorgate window defroster, lighted passenger vanity mirror, and an automatic height control system that adjusted rear shock absorbers using air pressure. Base engine was a 440 cu. in. V-8; optional, a 400 V-8. Standard tires were LR78 × 15 steel-belted radials.
