1979 AMC Pacer DL, V-8

PACER — SERIES 60 — SIX7V-8 — Except for an upright hood ornament above the upward-bulging grille, changes to the Pacer hatchback sedan and wagon consisted mainly of a larger (258 cu. in.) base engine and the addition of a Limited upgrade to the basic D/L model. Standard D/L equipment included individual reclining seats in Caberfae Corduroy or Sport Vinyl, wind-split molding, front/rear bumper guards, folding rear seat back, extra quiet insulation, day/night inside mirror, electric clock, dual horns, courtesy lights, two-speed wiper/washers, custom steering wheel with woodgrain overlays, and woodgrain-overlay instrument panel. D/L models had color-keyed wheel covers, P195/75R14 whitewall glass-belted radials, front sway bar, and color-keyed wide scuff moldings.
