1979 CHRYSLER LeBaron, V-8

LEBARON — SERIES F — SIX/V-8 — LeBaron's lineup was revised to include base, high-line Salon and premium Medallion models. A new chrome-plated grille had bold, rectangular openings formed by one vertical and two horizontal divider bars enclosing a pattern of fine vertical chromed bars. Quad rectangular parking lamps again stood directly over quad rectangular headlamps. Framing for headlamps and parking lamps wrapped around fenders to contain the amber marker lamps and cornering lamp lenses. A distinctive round eagle ornament stood on the hood. Medallion ‘C’ pillars held a new opera lamp. New wide wraparound three-segment taillamps held bright eagle medallions in the center squares. Backup lamps were set into the bumper, while large ‘Chrysler’ block letters went on the panel between the taillamps.
