1982 PONTIAC Bonneville, V-6

BONNEVILLE G - SERIES 2G - V-6/V-8 - This new Bonneville, still rear-drive, was smaller and more fuel-efficient than its predecessor, riding a 108.1 in. wheelbase. Base and Brougham trim levels were available on the formal-roof four-door sedan. A single station wagon model also was offered. Base engine was a 231 cid (3.8-liter) V-6 with three-speed automatic transmission. Optional: either a 252 cid (4.1-liter) V-6, or the 350 diesel V-8. A relatively narrow center divider (with emblem) separated the twin grilles, each made up of vertical bars. Quad rectangular headlamps stood directly above wide park/signal lamps. Two-row wraparound taillamps had a checkerboard look. Standard Bonneville equipment included power brakes and steering, P195/75R14 blackwall GBR tires, body-color bumpers, front bumper guards, wide rocker panels (with extensions), roof drip moldings, a stand-up hood ornament (with windsplit), wheel opening moldings, wheel ...
