1989 OLDSMOBILE Cutlass Ciera, V-6

CUTLASS CIERA — SERIES 3A — FOUR/V-6 — The 1989 version of the Oldsmobile Ciera entered the new model yearwith the most extensive styling improvements since its 1982 launch. The lineup consisted of base, SL and International Series coupes and sedans. The Cutlass Cruiser station wagon was now offered in two trim levels: base and SL (formerly the Cruiser Brougham). Updates included new grilles and front fascias, new taillamps and rear fascias (except Cruiser models) and exterior trim revisions. Windshield and backlight moldings were made black instead of the previous bright. Hood ornamentation found on the previous year's Ciera was deleted and wide body side moldings added. Sedan models featured a more rounded roofline and more steeply sloped rear window.
