1990 OLDSMOBILE Ninety-Eight, V-6

NINETY-EIGHT REGENCY — SERIES 3C — V-6 — The sedan-only lineup continued for the luxury Ninety-Eight in 1990 with base and Brougham models as well as the Touring Sedan that was based on the Ninety-Eight. Minor refinements for all the sedans included improved body structure from increased beam stiffness and reinforced joints. The Ninety-Eight models also received a revised steering gear to improve on-center steering feel. The Touring Sedan received acoustic materials in the roof, trunk floor and rear seat areas to reduce interior noise as well as a switch to Goodyear GA touring tires. Front and rear headrests on the Touring Sedan were made smaller, and remote keyless entry was standard. All sedans offered the driver's window auto-down feature as standard equipment.
