1991 OLDSMOBILE Ninety-Eight, V-6

NINETY-EIGHT REGENCY — SERIES 3C — V-6 — Upon its 50th anniversary, a revamped lineup had the 1991 Ninety-Eight available either as a Regency Elite sedan or Touring Sedan. The Brougham sedan from the year before was dropped. Both were completely redesigned inside and out from the Ninety-Eight models offered a year earlier. The new exterior styling made the Ninety-Eight 9.5 inches longer (205.8 inches long) than the previous year's version. A driver's side airbag and anti-lock brakes were standard equipment. Optional was the Computer Command Ride System. Standard powertrain for the Ninety-Eight and Touring Sedan models was the more powerful (170 hp) Series 3800 3.8-liter V-6 coupled to a new electronically controlled four-speed Turbo-Hydra-matic transaxle.
