1992 OLDSMOBILE Achieva, 4-cyl.

ACHIEVA — SERIES 3N — FOUR/V-6 — A more stylish, refined, mid-model year replacement for the Cutlass Calais, the Achieva offered Oldsmobile's typical two-tiered lineup, which in this case consisted of S and SL coupes and sedans. Standard powertrain for the Achieva S was the 120-hp 2.3-liter Quad inline overhead cam four-cylinder engine linked to a five-speed manual transaxle. The SL models used a three-speed automatic mated to the 160-hp dual overhead-cam Quad 4. The 180-hp High Output Quad 4 was offered in the S coupe as part of an optional W44 Sport Coupe Performance Package that dressed up the car with a black grille, rear aero wing, 16-inch aluminum wheels with P205/55R16 performance tires, dual exhaust and other accessories. Anti-lock brakes were standard across the lineup. The Series 3300 3.3-liter V-6 was optional in the Achieva SL models as well as the S coupe when the W44 package was ordered.
