1995 BUICK Riviera, V-6

RIVIERA - SERIES 4G - V-6 - Buick promoted its all-new Riviera as a “world-class personal luxury coupe.” Launched in early 1994, the 1995 Riviera employed the Series II 3.8-liter V-6 as its standard engine while offering the supercharged 3.8-liter version as its optional power source. The 4T60-E electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission was used with both engines. Riviera featured an all-new four-wheel independent suspension, with MacPherson struts in front and semi-trailing arms in back. Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes were standard equipment. Interactive traction control was optional. Riviera's handling was enhanced by a new variable-effort steering gear that combined hydraulic, electronic and magnetic control to provide steering assist.
