REGENCY — SERIES 3H — V-6 — Much of the Ninety-Eight's heritage lived on in the Regency, which was marketed to “mop up older more traditional customers who have demonstrated unflappable support of Oldsmobile.” The list of optional equipment was short: sunroof and engine block heater. Standard items included traction control, leather upholstery, daytime running lamps with twilight sentinel, overhead storage console, power trunk lid release, electro-chromic rear view mirrors, electronic compass, front and rear storage armrests, cargo-retention net for the trunk, cruise control, 15-inch aluminum wheels with whitewall radial tires, power windows, power door locks and power outside rear view mirrors. The Regency utilized safety cage construction and offered dual airbags and side impact protection.
