1998 OLDSMOBILE Intrigue

INTRIGUE — SERIES 3W — V-6 — The all-new five-passenger I ntrigue sedan was offered in three trim levels: base, GL and GLS (added mid-model year 1998). Built in Fairfax, Kansas, the midsize Intrigue was powered by a Series II 3800 (3.8-liter) V-6 paired with a 4T65-E Hydra-Matic electronically controlled four-speed automatic transaxle. Intrigue's standard equipment included four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, air conditioning, enhanced traction system, magnetic speed-variable power-assist rack-and-pinion steering, next-generation dual airbags, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels fitted with P225/60SR16 touring tires, and tilt steering. An optional Autobahn Package (not available on base Intrigue) offered larger front brake rotors and P225/60HR16 speed-rated tires.
