1999 OLDSMOBILE Eighty-Eight, V-6

EIGHTY-EIGHT — SERIES 3H — V-6 — Observing its fiftieth — and final — year as an Oldsmobile, the Eighty-Eight series was bolstered by the addition of a 50th Anniversary Edition sedan, which joined the existing base and LS models. Powertrain was again the Series II 3800 (3.8-liter) V-6 coupled to the 4T65-E Hydra-Matic electronically controlled four-speed automatic transaxle. The Anniversary Edition Eighty-Eight featured dual zone air conditioning, memory controls for driver's seat and outside mirrors, electrochromic day/night rear-view mirror with compass, leather-wrapped steering wheel with HVAC and radio controls and P225/60R16 touring tires mounted on 16-inch aluminum wheels. An exclusive option for the anniversary model was a power sunroof.
